What does this red warning triangle mean?

I seem to recall them on films shown on Channel 4. Your look of shock says it all.

It signifies that the system has had notification emails bounce back indicating either an obsolete email address or failed delivery attempts for other reasons.

Thanks. Istr struggling a few years ago with the notification options, and failing to find a combination that suited my desired 'no notifications', but the system seems to be friendlier now, particularly for the options presented on following a topic, and I have made some changes, so I'll see how it goes.

 

(I shunted my e-mail notifications to the dreadful Yahoo, and I was reminded this morning about how dreadful it is when receiving the message "We can’t sign you in right now. To prevent unauthorised account access, sign-in attempts are being blocked for now." So I can't tell why my notifications started to bounce as from yesterday. It's a classic 'computer says no' situation.)
