L&Y DCC Model Rail Group Exhibition Oct 21/22 2023

Good afternoon all,

 

I haven't seen a post for this exhibition so I thought I would do it. We attended last year and enjoyed it and we are planning on attending again this weekend.

The below is taken from a post on Facebook:

This weekend is the L&YDCC Model Rail Group's exhibition in Burnley. 4 rooms of layouts, traders & demos plus catering. Burnley Manchester Road train station about 5 minutes plus Burnley Barracks train station about 10 minutes away. Regular buses stopping on Trafalgar Street which runs parallel to the venue plus free parking at the venue.

It is really good to see the L&Y DCC show back in action again.  The event has always been an enjoyable experience - provided by a good, friendly group.

Looking forward to bringing US O scale Arcadia Pennsylvania.

A foul morning here , Glenties is ready to load but I'll wait for a break in the rain. Early start tomorrow. Looking forward to the weekend, it was very enjoyable last year with Burnham-on-sea, hoping for a repeat this time.  Alastair.

A few of us went to show on Saturday. We really enjoyed, good layouts across most scales. As you would expect in Burnley, the lunchtime pie was excellent.
