Quarryscapes
This photo came to me labelled as Cambrian. It's photographed on Cambrian track, certainly, but it is not a Cambrian vehicle. Over to you GW experts. It's number appearas to be x131x the last maybe a 3, 6 or an 8. Might it be Dia S18 No. 1313? If so, this is part of the the Tanat valley set of the late 40s, along with E40 No. 7248 on the right.

WillCav
It's got to be an 'S' diagram coach. The distinctive door top shape suggests diagrams S16 to S21. It can't be S16 (4 compartment) or S20/21 (wrong roof section) which leaves S17-19. The only number includes 131 is S18 number 1313. Will

In 1885, he took up the position of Locomotive, Carriage & Wagon Superintendent of the Great Eastern Railway. I'm therefore puzzled as to why these carriages of late 1880s - mid 1890s build bear his name? Edited November 14, 2023 by Compound2632

Penrhos1920
1313 was long lived, lasting until 1950. Here’s another photo of 1313: S18 no.1313 Edited November 15, 2023 by Penrhos1920
bécasse
The Tanat Valley line seems to have retained several 4-wheelers until c1950. I am not quite sure why as the brakes had been bogie vehicles for some time. The policy to retain them must have been deliberate as 1313 was repainted all-over brown at a relatively late date pre-nationalisation.
