norman
Especially as it's an 0-4-0 there is a need to fit a stay alive but it's difficult to see where it would fit, perhaps in the side tanks. Has anyone done this? Edited November 24, 2023 by norman grammar
brossard
Actually my B4 runs like a dream on my layout. Straight out of the box. It has factory sound. My track is not perfect by any means but the loco is surefooted. In the main thread, Richard Webster attributes this to the compensation. Dapol's best yet. I did get some stay alives from YouChoos for my Dapol Sentinel and Heljan Railbus: https://www.youchoos.co.uk/Index-Shop.php?CAT=StayAlive The Zimo Gold Caps 6 pack. Depending on your decoder, you may need the Lifelink. Haven't installed them yet. John

norman
On the original B4 thread a mention in one post was made regarding stay alive but there was no subsequent discussion.
