Railfreight red/grey 1980s paint?

Good morning all, rather than re-invent the wheel, what is your suggestion for the most accurate airbrush acrylic paints or blends for 1980 era Railfreight rolling stock?

Any of the major suppliers of railway colours will have this one in their range (Railmatch, Precision etc.)

 

But bear in mind that red fades more than almost any other colour. So a row of ten wagons would almost certainly have ten (if not more) shades between them.

I used Precision paints on an ODA, thus :

 

 

 

Brand chosen more because of my late father's devotion, than an expert comparison.

I used Railmatch enamel to repaint these Hornby OTAs and very pleased with the results.
