The Meerkat
will theses work with the network rail mk3 coaches or are the NR to old ?
RMweb Premium Kris Posted December 14, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 14, 2023 I don't see any reason why not. Some of the very latest mk3's have a plastic holder and a box to place the battery in but not all do. For those that don't you need to take the body on and off for battery replacement. I have placed these light strips in mk3's and mk2's without any issue. Below is my video showing my thoughts on adding these lights to a mk3 without a strip holder. 1

I just wish that Hornby would release a longer warm white version that is suitable for older stock.
MistaMatthews
I’ve fitted these in quite a few different coaches. Just stick the strip to the roof and hide the battery holder in the toilet / guards compartment. 1 2
