looking for spares

Hi

 

I'm trying to find a replacement cardan shaft for a Piko VT612 (52001-27). does anyone know of a UK retailer that may stock or be able to order them.

 

my only other option is to find someone who can speak Polish, as I can order them online from there (I think )

one German web site does offer them for sale if i send 5euros deposit by bank transfer costing £19 ( plus the 5 euro) and then another transfer cost with the balance.

 

It's a lovely model i'd love to see running again so all help apreciated.

My first port of call would be Arcadia model shop in Shaw, Manchester - great, helpful & knowledgable staff (usual disclaimer!),

for the help I think I have the parts on order now just waiting for the postman to do his bit and I should be up and running again

 

in the end it was easier to phone a model shop in Germany than use the web
