RMweb Premium melmerby Posted February 16 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 16 (edited) Hi all I am building a shelf layout which will be above my current layout and it will be of removable boards It is in an "L" shape being approx 18" wide per board and generally 4' long, with a total length of the long side of 19 '4" and a short side of 11' 6". It is unorthodox as I wish the individual boards to be lifted out, rather than butted up to each other. This is so I can make (& possibly alter) the track layout etc. away from the shelf location, as attempting any work on them would neccessitate leaning over the current trackwork which takes up the whole 19' 4" x 11' 6" footprint, with such things as a station & engine shed with turntable in the way. Any suggestions how I can make lift out sections whilst keep track alignment over the joints? I've got some ideas but others have probably got some better ones.
