RMweb Premium melmerby Posted February 18 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 18 (edited) Hi all BT were putting new cables in the ducts around here so it prompted me to search to see whether full fibre (FTTH) is in the offing. Sadly no info on BT's site. A site called Broadband Exposed claimed to have all the data on available broadband deals and said Full Fibre was available with a company called "Community Fibre" offering an average speed of 933Mb/s for £33 p.m. and was available at my postcode. Interesting I thought, never heard of Community Fibre around here so I went to their website. They have no presence outside London. Headline - "Community Fibre, Bringing Gigabit Broadband to London". So the info on Broadband Exposed was total codswallop. What's the point of doing such a thing? BTW the postcode I put in was not mine but another in the area but would be also covered by any provision around here.
