otherplanet
How would BR delivery vehicles have been refuelled at in the 1950s early 60s? I am thinking small urban stations, rather than the bigger city goods yards. Would they have received a dedicated fuel supply to store on site. Or would they have just refuelled at the local petrol station with everybody else? Thank you
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted March 24 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 24 (edited) In many areas they would operate rounds from the main depot dropping off and delivering parcels at various stations and businesses as in this BTF film from 1953. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFifC0qQDZY Edited March 24 by PhilJ W
