Camps Junction
Morning all, Im in need of a little help looking for photos of this area between 1950-1965, I,ve scoured the net but can find nothing around this period, Hoping to finally make a start on my 22x12 N gauge layout, I grew up in the 70s over looking the depot with trains almost running level with my second bedroom, Any help would be great thanks Drew Edited March 27 by Camps Junction
Nick Holliday
I’m not entirely sure, but I think you might have more luck if you search for Wood Green or similar. There is a thread on the LNER forum that may be of interest. https://www.lner.info/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10153&start=30 Although there seem to have been carriage sidings and a large shed on the site of the old GER goods yard, from around 1929, the current depot facilities only appeared in the seventies to handle the HST’s and I suspect that is when the Bounds Green name first appeared. manna
G'Day Folks I'm going to model the area between Buckingham Rd bridge and Wood Green tunnels, including the flyover and 'Kyber pass'. I have a few pics of the area. Here's some of them. manna

manna
G'Day Folks The Bounds Green layout has been in my mind for many years, didn't have the room for it, but do now, it'll have to be a bit smaller that scale, but I think I can get away with it. I lived on the Noel Park Estate in the 50's and early 60's, now in Northern Queensland, strange how we move about the globe. manna
LNERGE
Note the connecting line. This had facing point locks and was for for passenger train use. This was a wartime thing and linked the Enfields with Palace Gates and Seven Sisters.
