alastairq
wottalotta brass? would have to re-cycle quite a few 3-pin lugs to make that lot... minimum radius, anyone? somehow, plastic freight cars strung out behind might spoil the effect....
Mike Boucher
http://www.facebook....104852949549706 Here's some video of it running... 3.5" gauge. In that size, I'll stick with live steam over brass, thank you. Mike

Ohmisterporter
The 1/16 scale Big Boy was built in Korea by Mr Lee of Sun Jin Model Company. They are the model builders for Kohs and Company. The grey haired chap in the photos is George Kohs. http://www.kohs.com/News/news_10.htm Geoff.
jukebox
Impressive. Does anyone know what the clamshell-type object near the chimney is for?
Horsetan
The 1/16 scale Big Boy was built in Korea by Mr Lee of Sun Jin Model Company. .... I hope he was able to autograph it - a bit like Aston Martin engine-builders signing off each motor that they complete.
Hunslet
Impressive. Does anyone know what the clamshell-type object near the chimney is for? It is a deflector for use in tunnels. Some better H0 models have them but of course do not operate but are fitted or not as desired. It is not clear how the thing is powered. If it is electric then it must take a fair amount of power Hope this helps.
Ohmisterporter
According to the Kohs website Mr. Lee took reservations for ten of these little beauties. Not the girl, the Big Boy. Geoff.
