leopardml2341
Hello Fellow RM Webbers, I'm trying (without success so far) to determine the livery details for D1510 (47 411) :- When (if) did it receive Green FYE ? When did it receieve BR Blue ? When was it renumbered as 47 411 and in which livery ? I have tried web searches eg Class47.co.uk, brushype4.co.uk, but as ever with the projects I seem to choose it appears to have been a 'shy' loco with little recorded indromation - perhaps someone out there knows more ? Thanks in anticipation, Andy

leopardml2341
Hi Andy, According to the Class 47 Data File Part 1, livery details were: Loco acquired full yellow end by Feb 1968, into Blue Sep 1969 then into Large Logo Feb 1986 Gateshead crests added by Nov 1984, losing them on repaint into large logo before having them reinstated by Jul 1987 Renumbered to 47.411 January 1974 so would have been in blue at that time. HTH Steve Many thanks for your help Steve, brilliant detail. Andy

D6975
Also note that repaints into blue usually meant loss of the D prefix as well, so 1510 rather than D1510 when BFYE.
