I modelled OO GW steam as a kid (who didn't?!), have been building a collection of rolling stock for a mid 70s Far North Line model in 4mm, and have an unfinished model of Mallaig in the early 80s in N in store. I have returned most recently to the hobby as a result of a nasty divorce and to help my young son to find his place in the world - I'm looking at doing a representation of the Dawlish sea wall in N, which he and I traverse every other weekend when he visits me.
