Is it suitable for modelling UK prototype or is the American product to dissimilar for this purpose ? I should imagine rolling stock will run on it okay. Il Grifone Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 The difference in gauge is, at most, matter of millimetres (4' 8 1/2" and, usually, 1435mm). The most obvious differences between American and European track are the sleeper spacing and maximum rail height.
