I managed to cobble together enough numbers and letters from my few presfix transfer sheets to mark up my Low Mac, weathering next. And the skin base coat for my loco crew.

I have moved on a bit with the build, I have a running chassis, and now to scratch building the cab interior, but not sure to compromise with the width of the tanks inside the cab, If I make themwide to cover the wheels I will have to trim 2mm of either side of the back head.

Further progress, tanks filled with lead shot and araldite, lids on sand boxes and tanks in cab, hand rail holes in side of cab filled, a spot more cleaning up then to add the cab fittings, I have noticed on the photo's I have that there is a pipe coming through the cab to the whistle then going down both sides, dos anyone have a good picture of this?

The G6 is a Connoisseur kit, but does not come with a cab interior, many items are from the Laurie Griffin range with additional brass sheet for extra additions, my 1st real bit of scratch building has gone well so far, the drawing was sent to me by another RMweb member.

Not much more added spent the other night with my little airbrush type shot blaster happy with the results, boiler top fittings just placed and not fixed yet, still need to find a single handrail knob to finish off the front.

Chassis and wheels in weathered black, body in satin black, but noticed a few runs on the cab sides, so a spot of light sanding wet and dry to remove and respray. not sure what colour to paint the cab interior.

I have been working on a few items these last few months. A SR 25t Brake van along with an unfitted LMS van, both to be in freight grey, I have been dabbling in 1/35 military kits every now and then, I needed to build some thing small for a diorama. just a little Bren gun carrier & a 6 Pounder gun
