Ian G
I will be building the model express ones with Slaters wagon irons on the center axle, i have to purchace a decent saw and mitre set up to square the ends, I need one of these saws as i fancy scrath building a couple of silver bullets. I will be working on the brake gear and rodding tonight. Ian G

87023Velocity
Sorry Ian, I was getting mixed up with Seacows and Sealions, I have just re-read your OP (one and only is quite clear). I was thinking of the Seacows you were building on RMweb3. Simon

Ian G
I have most of the brass section to build a few but have not decided what to use for the deck, I may use copper clad, Im thinking of 8 foot bogies I know someone produces them, I have thought of resin but I want weight in them when running empty. brian daniels
I suspect Appleby would do his whitemetal bogies separate Ian. Do you want me to ask him at Reading tomorrow?
Ian G
If you could please, I also think there is E J Hughes http://www.migo.org.uk/mambo/images/stories/EJHUGHESPRICELIST2006.pdf that does them as advertised in the Guild mag some time ago. Pugsley
I have most of the brass section to build a few but have not decided what to use for the deck, I may use copper clad Why not use proper wood for the deck?
brian daniels
Because the decks on Salmons are chequer plate metal Martin with a few holes in them for stantions. Ian as for Warwells I think he may be going to do them. Will find out on Saturday as they would obviously go well with the Warflats. Anyone knoe of 1:43 army vehicles? Pugsley
Because the decks on Salmons are chequer plate metal Martin with a few holes in them for stantions. That'd be a good reason for not using wood then I don't know why I had it in my mind that they had wooden decks.
lancer1027
That'd be a good reason for not using wood then I don't know why I had it in my mind that they had wooden decks. I suppose now Pugsley you feel a bit of a plank . Only joking, well it was nearly a joke.
