Pint of Adnams

Recommended Posts

I had a long and very pleasant chat with Jim on his stand at the Southwold Show last Saturday, and in advance of his appearance at Guildex in Telford next month.

The new house in Herefordshire is now habitable, but the workshop/production facilites remain at the old house in Stourbridge for a few months yet - until Christmas at the very least.

Key facts:

1. A new Temporary catalogue is available with a summary of the relocation project on the inside back cover (as per his website);

2. Orders should still be sent to the Stourbridge address;

3. When the relocation is complete (if not before) Jim will have to review his prices - raw materials, etching costs, packaging materials have all increased significantly over the last 2 years whilst Jim has held his prices, and VAT will be increasing to 20% in January - so now is a very good time to buy!

4. A few kits are temporarily unavailable, new moulds for cast components are needed but Jim hasn't the time at present to get these done.

Bearing in mind the amount of work that Jim and Megan have manage to get done, and with the birth of daughter Freya too, it's good to know that all is progressing to a conclusion.
