robbostrains
Hi,could any one tell me how big the smallest circle of track in Peco 00 is please? Thanks.
shortliner
Peco - setrack no 1 radius 371mm, so twice that. Each number size curve is 67mm larger radius, up to number 4 - Standard code 100 Small radius point is 610 mm and Y also 610mm - They don't do a curve as such - you'd use flextrack
edcayton
Presumably those radius figures are to the centreline of the track, so you'd have to add around 25 mm to the outside of the track, and more for clearance of stock depending on what you are running. Remember that an increasing amount of rtr won't go round first radius; conversely you could bend flexi, or build track to tighter radii, although I wouldn't myself. Brian
Hi While the link below is for Hornby track geometry, the Peco Setrack range is to the same standard. Many medium and a larger sizes of locos and some rolling stock will not negotiate radius 1 curves. Link to Hornby Track Geometry As stated all measurements are to track centres, so you will need to add approx 12-15mm minimum each side.
