AMJ
Arriving on my WB soon is the Worsley Works DHR NDM6 (7mm:1' scale). The intention is to build it along with a handful of wagons so that the Inglenook can be changed to be DHR. Transfers for the Hindi script? A thought has crossed my mind - does anyone do a DCC sound project for this loco? If not does anyone have any sound recordings that could be used to create a sound project? Allegheny1600
Hi there, I've hunted and hunted but so far can't discover just what engine would have been fitted to these charming locos! I started hunting as I thought "Aha! India = Alco!" but no proof at all so far, in fact I think my initial thought was probably a red herring! Have you seen: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mdltrly/ndm6.html The loco builders: http://www.san-engineering.com/ - possibly contact them to ask what engine was fitted! Of course, there is always YouTube to check out for the sound of them! Sorry I can't be of any more help! John E.

My wheels will be coming from Oz (advertiser on here) via Charlie (DC Kits) when I have measured the drawings. I have a copy of Iron Sherpa (pt 1 & 2) at home and it's got an Indian built 6 cylinder engine IRFCA as ever reveals it to be Engine: Kirloskar-Cummins NTA 855L, 6 cylinders
