PhilEakins
I've just noticed that Brian Lewis (C&L Finescale) is offering crossing nose chairs in whitemetal and in brass. Phil
richard_t
I think they are to GWR pattern, and I think they've been available for a while - I've got a packet or 5! I believe Perfect Minatures are looking at producing turnout chairs - not sure if Scale7 or Finescale.
Western Star
The C&L "slab and bracket" chairs in whitemetal are a representation of the GWR prototype, I forget which crossing vee angle(s) are compatible with the product.... I use them with with vees from 1:5 to 1:8 inclusive although I often have to take a file to the edges so that the bracket on the left looks as is it is part of the bracket on right. David Yule uses these items as the basic of some of the other GWR S&C fittings, I seem to recall that he makes the inside and outside bracket versions of the bridge chair by judicious use of kjnife and file. regards, Graham
