english electric
Hi i want to add cab lights to a Bachmann class 45, Since they dont have cab lights fitted and they are the 21pin version with working head and tail lights and would like to add working cab lights but im unaware of the pins to tap into. Any info would be helpfull and thanks in advance
Tigger
It will depend on how many functions the decoder has and how many are already being used. These are the pins for a 21 pin decoder Dependant on how many functions you have you can connect to use any of the "AUX" pins ie 15, 14, 13 and 4 On a 3 function decoder such as the Bachmann 36-554 only Aux 1 Pin 15 will be available On a 6 Function decoder such as the TCS EU621 (Which I use and find fantastic) all the Aux pins can be used Also watch the output rating on the decoder, the Bachman one is only 75mA but the TCS EU621 is 100 mA Hope this helps

Tigger
Yes that correct, if the cab lights are LED's the blue is + and pin 15 is -
