RMweb Premium eldavo Posted November 18, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 18, 2009 Morning All, Damp and grey hereabouts. I'm not going to get drawn into this astral pun-fest he said with a twinkle in his eye. Cheers Dave
RMweb Premium NGT6 1315 Posted November 18, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 18, 2009 At least Izar relatively good day weather wise here. There might be a chance to see some stars. Up until today, the weather has been Mizar-able. It has been that, true. However, I haven't turned into a Vega-n just yet, and don't think I ever will. Robert
For those that are following the story of how I started to build an Ark too late: Uh oh! It doesn't look like too big a stream - but I presume it is one of those that flows off high ground, and consequently turns into a raging torrent in heavy rain. DonBradley
That looks too close for comfort! Where are the sand bags, shovel, spade, canoe, life raft etc? Is there an adequate supply of whisky on board? Seriously; GOOD LUCK!
DDolfelin
It's about 12' wide at the moment. Normally it's about 6'. Sand bags have been in place for three days. I've broken up the canoe to help with materials for a raft. Yes - it is fed from the top of our mountain. General chaos locally and in North Wales generally. Floods, trees down, traffic accidents etc. All quite normal really.

RMweb Premium NGT6 1315 Posted November 18, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 18, 2009 Windy over here, but actually a bit sunny - so much the better . However, if it should get any windier, I believe I should park my car-in-a garage.

RMweb Premium NGT6 1315 Posted November 18, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 18, 2009 Is it a Ford Galaxy? How do you think I might be able to fit an entire galaxy into a garage? Unless, of course, you consider the entire universe a garage... Question for the night: Is there any tool with which to open Can-opus?

sixoh8sixoh
I heard on the traffic news that the Tees has burst its banks at Croft too. Fortunately, I think it's far enough away from the motor racing circuit not to affect that...
JohnDMJ
...... you'll need your umberella and wellies too. Inverted umbrella = coracle, wellies = paddle; yup, could be useful! (Coat on umbrella shaft as a sail, perhaps?)
