Emmo
I noticed on the Bay the other day an unmade Ian Kirk wagon kit in 3mm went for £20! I have 5 of these all unmade - are they really worth that much, bearing in mind the age of them now, mid 1970's and earlier I believe.
BernardTPM
Basic economics - something is worth what someone will pay for it. Supply and demand, though here probably seasoned with a lack of knowledge.
craigwelsh
They were clearly worth it to someone though he may have only wanted the one! If you do want to sell them then you could always put one on there and see if people bid up to that amount again.
The Dorset Wanderer
Join the 3mm Society-then you could buy all you need at a reasonable price. Steve
Emmo
I am a member! And I bought mine a lot less than £20 a piece! I was merely wondering if I could make a killing by selling the 5 I have, making £100 in the bargain. Think how many Parkside kits I could get from the society for that money. The Dorset Wanderer
You could-although I have seen other items go for a good price, then someone thinks -I could make a killing-subsequent item then bombs!Steve
