Gordon A Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 The Avon Valley Railway at Bitton station, Bristol are having their annual one day gala on Sunday 24th October. Three engines in steam, including the visiting N2 0-6-2 1744 from the Great Central Railway. Als0 industrial Ruston Hornsby diesel hydraulic 0-6-0 and DMU Resident RSH 7151 and Polish 0-6-0 tank engines are also out, sharing the passenger and freight trains. The N2 will also be in steam on Monday and Wednesday. I have attached some pictures taken quickly this afternoon. (Must clean the lens!) The pictures show the N2 along with resident RSH 7151 (ex Hams Hall No 9), Polish tank "Karel", Brit Rail 07 diesel electric and industrial Ruston Hornsby diesel hydraulic.
