br2975
Cornish, . Try my earlier two threads, which contain details of Hima-Sella R/C fitted Cl.08s. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/22094-cardiff-bar-section-mill/ http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24398 If you are converting a 4mm scale model, then check the loco you are converting has a similar arrangement of vacuum exhausters, battery boxes and air brake compressor cupboards etc. . The Bachmann model of 08921 could be a reasonable starting point, except for the real 08921, which was the first 08 painted in EWS livery, but didn't get the EWS lettering on the gold body stripe, which Bachmann included. 08921 is R/C fitted, but has different light clustars to the others. It recently returned to Tidal Sidings from Toton, yet, as with previous repairs, when it arrived back at Tidal the R/c system wasn't working 100% (allegedly !). . 08921 (Bachmann) L/H side – vacuum exhauster box, battery box & air brake compressor cupboard) R/H side - vacuum exhauster box, battery box Steel cab doors EWS livery ?x headlights (radiator) ?x tail lights (cab) ?x rear lamp irons. 08921 could form the basis of the following R/C fitted Cl.08s. 08752 Right hand side & 08752 Left hand side 08854 Right hand side & 08854 Left hand side 08951 Right hand side & 08951 Left hand side Brian R
