Due to Wales playing rugby against Australia (16-25), in the Millenium stadium, Arriva Trains Wales ran a rugex using the WAG stock in top'n'tail mode, went out for this and also got a poor shot of the RHTT (the sun came out, directly behind it, just as it got to me :( )

First a hippo B)

An LMS footbridge, provided in the 1930s when the level crossing was closed, the infil on the right hand platform marks the site of the LMS signal box, closed in the 1980s, the rods and wires passing under the platform.

I think the white line painter on the Down platform at Fflint (picture 10) had had a few to many the night before

I just about remember the old box/crossover etc, when was it all taken out Dave?

T-T

1990 iirc, I was there, and if I'd had some tools with me, a lot of it would have been preserved - the S&T gave me permission to take whatever I wanted but with no tools I couldn't get anything :( (the diagram had already gone).

I've got pictures of some of the signals being felled
