(at least in RR&Co 5.x) How I would be tempted to lock pointwork is to make it conditional on the indicator being clear so that the turnout can move. I really should get on with doing up another test layout in RR&Co, incorperating what I have learned so far. (the learning curve can be vertical at times). As most of my track is laid, it is a little tedious at times to fit the detectors but it will be worthwhile in the long run.
