cobach47
i forgot to say - once the decal is pressed onto the clear decal film you must wet and remove the tissue before coating
Caledonian
Useful thread. I like Pressfix far better than waterslide and the only problems I've had have been down to my own ineptitude. My only gripe is that whoever put the LMS loco sheet together knew nothing about the LMS. There are equal quantities of each number which makes no proper allowance for all the figure Ones which appear in LMS loco numbers As to helpful suggestions I always use warm water laced with a little common or garden washing up liquid, just a smidgin, applied to the transfer with the soggy end of a cotton bud and then once the carrier paper has been floated off the transfer gets pressed dry/cleaned off with the dry end.
