Sailor Charon
For some reason, instead of moving back to the centre, it moves back to pointing to the right, and most of the time isn't on the rails - not that it causes any problems, it just looks... odd. I'm guessing it's related to the centring spring, and I'm sure it's easily fixed. But I'm not sure what to do... All advice will be gratefully received. Can I just say that, other than that I'm very happy with it.
RMweb Premium Kris Posted November 8, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 8, 2009 Is the centre spring twisted causing more pressure to be exerted on one side? If so twisting it so that the pressure was biased to the rear or front would solve it.

Edwin_m
Dapol were offering free bogie spring replacement kits. Don't suppose they have any left.
Dr Al
Dapol were offering free bogie spring replacement kits. Don't suppose they have any left. This was only for the initial runs of 9Fs. If you have a 92220, 92001, 92233 or Black prince it will already be so fitted. Alan

Alan Indeed, it's a 92001... I've got an older one (92050), and that's not been any problem... Anyway, just to let you know, I kept tweaking it to the left, and (touch wood) that's got the spring sorted...
