Wanted to post this video for two reasons: to show off some of the great narrow gauge layouts here in the Seattle area; and to give you a glimpse of the this beautiful part of the world in which I live.

 

I've been to Paul Scoles' Sn3 Pelican Bay layout once, and yes, it's that tremendous. Dale Kreutzer's RGS layout is a jaw-dropper, while the West Side Lumber Co. layout is perhaps the one I'm looking foward to seeing most. What a masterpiece!

The Seattle area (or Pugetopolis, as I call it) has quite the cadre of prolific narrow gauge modelers. There are others whose layouts aren't shown on the video. Here are links to other layouts. The first was built by the recently passed Brian Ellerby, who founded Evergreen Scale Models, makers of the well-known styrene products.
