BROADTRAIN1979 Posted December 9, 2010 Author Share Posted December 9, 2010 Must admit ive never seen a 501 with wrapped round to the cab door? and i was constantly using these trains back in the great 1970s, mind you i have seen a 308 with wrapped round yellow to the cab door That was in the 1960s, 63 i think .It was in an ian allen, emu spotters book ,still nigel ,it looks great. As for departmental 501s, I've been inspired by Nigels Strawberry Hill Beastie to start collecting images of these. I really fancy having a go at the Class 97 battery locos used at Hornsey and Birkenhead amongst others.
