muddys-blues
Hi, I am after an indication of when the Dutch livery started appearing on Sealion & Seacow wagons, and does anyone know the timescale of the overlap of the liveries from Oilive to Dutch. Thanking you in anticipation Craig.
BernardTPM
I believe the first CE wagons to receive this livery were the welded pattern Seacows in 1981, followed the next year by the Turbots, but it took some years before it was applied to older wagons. Paul Bartlett's site shows a Grampus freshly repainted in Olive green as late as November 1987.

New Cross Gate were applying it to re-bodied Lamphreys (Crabs) until the end of the 1980s, as well as to the ex-Shockhood Bs (Dace?) . I think the last 'new' vehicles to come out from a major works (as opposed to a wagon repair depot)in it were the Plaice from Horwich.
