M1AYM Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 Hello – I hear the B800 track cleaner works on conventional 12V dc variable for us non DCC converts. I have a 28ft loft layout and cant be bothered climbing over the water tank to clean the top end of the layout. I have the old Triang track cleaner which does work if weighed down with lead and drenched in meths but was wondering how well this Dapol unit actually performs. Has anyone had any experience with it? Does it work ? Is it worth the money as a track cleaner or is the track cleaning part just for model show ?
