Hi, I want ti fit point motors to my Peco N Gauge universal code 80 turn outs, can I use OO gauge Peco motors.

If so what is the best method to do this, thankyou

Hi

Yes you can if you mean the PL10 type. I'm not sure about the PL11s.

I mounted mine under the baseboard using the Peco PL9 mounting plate and a slot through the board the motors were the PL10-E (extended pin).

Cheers

Paul

Yes - the peco motors are not OO gauge specific (assuming you mean the under the base board motors).

The easiest way is to cut a rectangle in the baseboard for the motor and use the metal lugs on the motor to fit into the peco points. Alternatively cut a much smaller hole for the point rod and use washers and screws to attach the motor to the underside of the board.

IIRC there are instructions how to do all this with the motors.

Cheers, Mike
