Popular Post Waverley West
Hi folks Just a quick pit-stop photo to show off my latest purchase, which has now been weathered - a Heljan Royal Mail 128 parcels unit. A stranger to Waverley of course but just irresistible. More photos to follow. It's a truly lovely model... Just needs a Howes sound chip now. Out of stock at the moment though unfortunately. Cheers Dave

MRDBLUE17
Hi Dave, Finally caught up with the progress, the back scenes do look good and I really like the work you have done to refresh the country section, the bridge and river below look so realistic and the static grass has added a whole new level to it. Good to catch up at Glasgow and hopefully see you again soon. All the best Mark

RMweb Premium keefer Posted March 1, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Yep, they are absolutely superb as you say, Lee. I just had to have one. Can't justify one for Waverley of course but I really didn't care. Could always say it's one of the ones that ended up at Inverness for scrapping, but got 'borrowed' on the way up As you say, you like it and that's all that matters. Nice subtle weathering and such realistic pics make it look right at home! Great stuff as usual dave Edited March 1, 2014 by keefer
RMweb Gold SHMD Posted March 2, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 2, 2014 Great photography there and on such a wonderful layout. I particularly like the marker reflective lens/clear glass on the end of the DPU. But who would have thought that the “oh so mundane” DPU would make such a photogenic model! Kev. I'm guessing it would have gone up the West Coast, but yes, it might well have got 'borrowed' on the way up! Cheers, Dave
