RMweb Gold Mr.S.corn78 Posted November 12, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 12, 2009 HI all, i have just sold a Hornby sound class 60 on ebay and the buyer has come back to me saying that one of the ploughs is missing and the couplings are missing. I have just checked another class 60 that i have and the loco has no ploughs on it and the couplings arent on the loco but in the bag is this correct for the sound version also?? thanks for the help in advance cheers Simon
Dr diesel
The class 60 model at each end, has more of a obstacle deflector than ploughs fitted, with cut outs for the couplings to be attached. the couplings should be in a bag with two more obstacle deflectors without the cutouts, for people who wish to display the loco, or never require it to couple to anything. I refer you to this review http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Rolling%20Stock/model-railway-Hornby-locomotive-review-class-60.htm where underneath the second picture it mentions them. Also on the Hornby web site it shows the items here http://static.Hornby.com/files/hss-340-class-60-sound-loco-453.pdf under item 10 on the diagram. I assume its the pack refered to as item X5593 in the chart to the right Regards Jeff
