chaz
Before I go ahead and buy some, I note that the hoppers come with a moulded coal load. Can somebody tell me please - is this load removeable? Chaz

chaz
OK Steve, Fourney is ordered from Hattons, Backwoods Miniatures kit to convert it onto a 2-4-0 tender loco, with their slope-back tender also ordered. Just got to get some Chivers Fineline bogies for the tender to roll on and I will have a nice loco to shunt stock on and off the train ferry that I am planning for my new layout....... chaz
The Bachmann Fourney from Hattons and the Backwoods Miniatures conversion kit (with their slope-back tender) both arrived yesterday. The Bachmann loco is a little gem and the B M kit looks very good. The temptation is to make a start on it, but this MUST be resisted - I ought to finish the baseboards and make some track first!
