kimitrain Posted February 9, 2011 Author Share Posted February 9, 2011 Hi Thanks for the nice comment. the inlaid track was done by using thin card and pushed all the way to the rails each side. the middle part was done by working out tempaltes with paper then cut with a knife to get the right angle as this siding is not staright. puck Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Hi. This is the kind of layout I'd like to build; just got to decide between myriad of ideas. Your almost on-stage fiddleyard is appealing, after all if the layout is for home then there's nothing to hide. I've in mind simple cassettes; a yard of track on some MDF, ballast and a smidge of greenery, maybe a removable bit of scenery in front if not at edge of board. Out of curiosty what are dimensions?
