Andy D
Hi Big_daddy_ray, Welldone with the weathering of this loco, looks supurb! And its your first! I especially like how you have done the streaks down the sides of the body work. Did you dry brysh them? I use games workshop washes to get this effect. I think its brill that your jumping in and having a go! Thats the best way, trial and error. And if something doe not go to plan, shrug it off and have another go! It what its all about. big_daddy_ray
Thanks Andy, I used the airbrush on wipe off with a cotton bud dipped in thinners approach, but ruffed up the sides with a fibre glass pen first, I usually use acrylics to do my stock but this is the first time I've used enamels and the first time I've done an engine
big_daddy_ray
Finished with the weathering just put in some flush glaze windows the only problem is that the flash on the camera picks up every streak it is quite a lot milder when you look at it normally anyway here she is I'm happy and if funds allowed I'd keep it but she gotta go
