StaffsOatcake
Steering wheels are standard fit on DRS 57's apparently. Optional extras on the 57/3' and 57/6s 57009+47712 should be heading back from the west country at some point today and where am I?? stuck in Manchester shopping with the missus! Badly planned that. rob D2
Well, I Would imagine you would need more specialised knowledge to make something sinister out of nuclear waste to a couple of 30mm cannon shells. Anyway as it appears some of us are a tad paranoid, I'll say no more. God help us if the people's front of judea get hold of the REX supplement on MOD trains . If it's in their own magazine I won't get my door kicked in right ?
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted February 24, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 24, 2011 The former, according to their in-house magazine (pages 16-19). If it's in their own magazine I won't get my door kicked in right ? The even more interesting thing is that they've also disclosed the contents! You used to have to sign a rather special piece of paper to be allowed to know about that (and that was only after they'd - metaphorically - kicked your door in) and you could be collared for disclosing it. How times have changed
br2975
The even more interesting thing is that they've also disclosed the contents! You used to have to sign a rather special piece of paper to be allowed to know about that (and that was only after they'd - metaphorically - kicked your door in) and you could be collared for disclosing it. How times have changed This formed the basis of a 'discussion' I had with a BTP 'Community Support Officer'(CSO) on 'The Lawn' at Paddington whilst my son was taking shots of the station roof; and which, in the opinion of the CSO was forbidden as it presented a 'security isue'. Cue soapbox time, as I pointed toward a well known newsagents nearby and said "I can go in there, part with £14.99 and lawfully buy a book that gives me the times, dates and routes of trains carrying spent nuclear fuel, explosive liquids and ammunition bound for the middle east - and you call snapping Brunel's roof a security issue !" The two BTP dog handlers nearby both grinned at me, and did nothing to 'support' their support officer ! Brian R
