Superrams Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Hi Folks I have recently purchased Hornby's Class 60 048 with sound,but i have just noticed that the light configuration is as follows :- End 1 Non Drivers Side, Bright Headlight Drivers Side, Semi Bright Headlight Drivers Side, Sml Oblong light lit End 2 Non Drivers Side, Bright Headlight Drivers Side, No Semi Bright Headlight Drivers Side, Sml oblong light lit Why is the Semi Bright headlight not lit on one end,does anyone know Is this normal? I have tweeked the brass connections inside,but this has made no difference Has anyone got a Hornby Class 60,and if so,is the light configuration of mine correct ? Steadfast Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 Hiya, Not familiar with the Hornby model, but the real thing is like this: One side has the bright headlight, with the other displaying the rectangular marker light. This photo shows the day setting, at night the positions are reversed. The headlight on the same side as the marker light is not lit - could your semi-bright headlight be light bleed from the marker light on that side of the model?
