RMweb Premium finelines Posted March 6, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 6, 2011 It appears that the rumors of an rtr Q6 are a little premature. Are there enough of you interested to make it worth doing a batch of ours which has always been well spoken of? Roger
Jub45565
I would have thought that the kit market will be covered by the Dave Bradwell and Alexander models offerings. That said, if its just a case of pressing the button then why not if the interest is there. Its far too far down my list to justify one at the moment personally though. Cheers,
RMweb Premium finelines Posted March 6, 2011 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 6, 2011 In many ways I hope you are right. However I promised the people who have been in touch off list that if the rtr model didn't materialise I would consider producing a few of the Q6 that has been the most sought after for the almost 20 years of its existence. RMweb Premium finelines Posted March 7, 2011 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 7, 2011 Arthur was too modest to remind you that in the world of kits this was his first baby! He made it for me and I did the production end of the job! Roger
scottiedog
Of all of the Q6 kits that are/were available I have always regarded Roger's as the best and another one would not go amiss! It must be down to Arthur's pattern making!! I have got a couple of Roger's D20 which are well admired when they run on my exhibition layout. Have you considered a re-run of this kit, too? craigwelsh
Of all of the Q6 kits that are/were available I have always regarded Roger's as the best and another one would not go amiss! Ah but Dave Bradwell has a kit out now and its superb, I assume it could be build in 00 if required.
RMweb Premium finelines Posted March 11, 2011 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2011 Horses for courses! Although This is a whitemetal bodied kit suitable for 00 EM and P4. I have always regarded the Bradwell kit serving a different clientele.
