Peter Kazmierczak
Hello All, Does anyone remember the Big Four Railway Museum in Bournemouth? What happened to it? Does anyone know the date when it openeed and closed. It was run by Frank Burridge who wrote the book "Nameplates of the Big Four". Any info would be much appreciated. RMweb Premium Richard E Posted March 11, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 11, 2011 Frank Burridge is no longer with us - it seems the museum may have closed around 1990 as that is when he stopped selling his transport themed collectors cards at the museum. bike2steam
Frank Burridge is no longer with us - That's a shame, he was a regular customer in my old shop up until I closed it for good in 2005, but I understand the museum had been closed before 1994, when I first got involved with 'Motor Books'.
