Julia
A rather esoteric question that I am hoping someone with a ruler and a class 33/1 could perhaps help with. What is the length from the front buffer to the back of the rear most wheel? I have painted myself into a bit of a corner on one of my sidings, and I want to know if I can get a class 33 in the siding and still swing the point blades. Bert Cheese
I'd say approximately 182mm is the measurement you seek with buffers at full compression.

Ah perfect, I have 190mm of siding, so one of these should fit. This will teach me to design for steam then decide that actually a diesel loco would be nice... Thanks J
