buffalo
It looks a little more confused than that, Andy. The URL is actually "http://http//www.rmweb.co.uk/..." This seems to be quite a common error when folk try to create links by hand Nick
Andy Y
Apologies Nick; I hadn't read past the first 5 characters. The easy way to form the link is to paste the complete url of the page (from the browser address bar) over the pre-populated http:// that appears when clicking on the icon. buffalo
I think some examples of this type of problem can arise when folk click in the URL box before pasting, so not over-writing the pre-populated "http://". Some appear to notice the problem then make further errors when trying to correct it. Looking in the 10000/10001 thread, it appears that Graham's original reason for testing relates to the post he made there which has: "http://www.rmweb.co.uk/http://www.rmweb.co.uk/..."
