American Logging Layout

Hi all,

Been watching a couple of episodes of Ax Men, and it brought to mind a Layout that did the rounds a little while ago, but I can't remember the name... It was something like "Camp 3 on Tree Chop Ridge" Anyone else remember or have any pics/links? Google can't find it :(

Cheers

Phil

Think you mean Camp 93?

Here's a link to a youtube video of mine of it from Railex last year:

Apologies for the quality, it was done on my old phone.

No thats not it :(

It was/is quite a lot bigger, remember seeing it at a show at Kidderminster possibly up to 10 years ago?

Thanks for that though, interesting video :)

Murray Reid's "Camp Four on Three Chop Ridge"....? (Nottingham March '06 and Newcastle November '07, amongst other shows).

That's the layout the OP is refering to I think. Effective sound system, well weathered and characterful, and there were always crowds around it. The operators conversed using headsets and microphones and worked at the front of the layout. Very impressive at the time. Unable to find it on Youtube though. I think I saw it at Blackburn.

Geoff.
