michaelp
Hi, I intend to use my Bachmann Dynamis for point operation with the appropriate accessory decoders but wondered if it is possible to operate two Eckon light signals with the Dynamis, if so, what would I need to get them working? Thanks in advance. Michael
Pete Harvey
Michael You need a switch pilot and a switch pilot extension which plugs into the switch pilot see picture below. The extension is on the left of the pilot. Pete
Nigelcliffe
Or any other accessory decoder suited to the signals. I've just installed colour light signalling for someone using MERG steady-state decoders. These are about £10 for eight outputs; depending on how you wire the signals, this comes out at either four red/green signals (one output per light) or eight red/green signals. - Nigel
smokebox
Or use a couple of miniature toggle switches which cost £1 or so and operate the signals manually. Or, non prototypically, have a micro-switch or Peco PL-13 or similar which operates the signals when the point changes.
