michaelp
During a visit to the now demolished Blyth / Cambois MPD area I came across the remains of this ground signal which is situated to left of where the loco sheds were when looking towards Freemans crossing, does anyone know which track this signal controlled when the MPD was operational? Mark Saunders
It was the depot outlet signal as the one out of West Blyth and also from North Blyth were on posts beneath a Main Aspect. Mark Saunders
Edwin_m
I would guess that it controlled moves out of the MPD onto the running line going away from you. Moves within most MPDs were and still are unsignalled.
Poindexter
Hi Michael sounds like your cracking on with Cambois. Have you seen this vid? It was shot in 94 but it (and another 2 by the same user) shows quite alot of Cambois Depot. Did you have any look with a track plan from the library?
