Leicester Thumper
I hate it when the engines die on you.... I had a Lima N guage Deltic which did that to me, but it seemed to go out with a dignified exit or realistic smoke!!!!! it also caused quite a strong smell of burning.... FR FAN
No time being wasted on building a replacement for our condemned Blanche. Progress already on Blanche II This is going to be a cross-breed Hunslet - half Backwoods half Parkside Dundas. A 'Backside' kit perhaps??? FR FAN
Apologies if you've been following this on the Bron Hebog blog. Our new Blanche has had a dome transplant with this handmade brass beauty turned up for us after it was pointed out to use by readers that the ome supplied with the kit was too small. Ohmisterporter
Sorry to seem negative here Rob, but the dome looks too narrow in diameter to me. I have been looking at the Isengard site and there is video of Linda newly out of BL in black livery. Her dome looks to be definitely fatter than the one you have modelled. As ever I am offering this as help, not critisism, you have a fine looking model. http://www.isengard.co.uk/index.htm#News Geoff.
